5 O'clock and All's Well Viewed from Trafalgar Square, the clock tower of Parliament casts an imposing image across London. I love the ominous feeling this shot created. It only lacks the London fog.

Les Cafes de Montmartre The natural lighting during this nighttime shot is one of my favorite effects. We had just finished dinner at a cafe at Montmartre. The square had long emptied of artists, but the locals lingered.

Je regarde le Trocadero par la tour Eiffel I especially like the interplay here between the structure we all recognize, and the Trocadero across the river Seine.

La Sensa Regatta Venice is steeped in traditions. The celebration for la sensa goes back centuries and the gondolier families commemorate this with a race through the Grand Canal.

Reflections on the Lily Pond #1 It was almost eerie seeing with my own eyes what I had seen painted by Monet.

All Things Must Come to an End The imagery created by this staircase I found to be intriguing. This is the path that all must take to exit the Vatican Museum.

Along the Grand Canal A calm moment on the Grand Canal before all of the excitement that comes with Carnevale explodes across Venice.

Morning at the Spanish Steps Not until the elderly woman climbed the stairs to the church at the top did the story truly begin for me.

Pantheon at Night Originally a temple for all Roman gods, the temple was converted into a church in 609. Still standing, still in use as a church, and still as impressive as ever.

Doge's Palace The patterns, colors and designs of the facade are countless. I wanted to capture just a piece of the beautiful mosaic that the artisans created, which are so recognizable today.

Angels at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, Reims The gothic vision of the angels I found quite haunting, since they are clearly watching from protective vantage points.

Before Sunrise - San Giorgio Long before the sun rose, or the Carnevale costumes appeared, I captured this still moment on the Grand Canal, looking away from Piazza San Marco.
